The new Stockport Interchange, opened in March 2024, is a £140 million transformation of the town’s former bus station into a modern, multi-modal transport hub. Featuring 18 bus stands and handling up to 164 departures per hour, it plays a key role in Greater Manchester’s Bee Network.
After multiple successful projects with Transport for Greater Manchester, we were selected to deliver all internal wayfinding and external signage.
Designed exactly to the TFGM brand guidelines and featuring built-up lettering, suspended wayfinding, Head of Queue modular informational units, and exterior fingerpost wayfinding in the surrounding Viaduct Park, the scheme is a showcase of successful infrastructure signage implementation.
