Great Scotland Yard Hotel
Designed to tell a story, the new Great Scotland Yard Hotel takes an iconic London landmark – no less than the former HQ of the Metropolitan Police - and brings it to life. This unique building in the heart of Westminster has been entirely renovated, whilst retaining the distinctive original façade in its entirety.
Ascot designed, manufactured and installed a beautiful bespoke Branding and Wayfinding Signage solution for this luxury boutique hotel in London. The scheme incorporates a premium antique copper finish to the internal signage, with raised brass lettering throughout. The internal scheme features directional signage, room numbering and projecting signs. Working to very specific brand guidance we were able to create a concept which successfully complemented the buildings interior design.
Ascot also provided the stunning Copper Clock and Lanterns which adorn the front facade of the building. Both elements were designed and produced in-house by our talented craftsmen, incorporating unique design features which clearly reflect the hotel’s overarching theme and delightfully compliment the vintage building facade.
